About us
The Freshwater Gallery is an independent contemporary art gallery owned by Claire Barrington.
The gallery promotes many styles of artwork, mainly from British artists including some very local artists from the Liverpool area.
Situated in Liverpool's wonderful Albert Dock we offer original art, local scenes, signed limited prints and a vast range of open edition giclee prints.
We also stock the largest range of Milkwood greetings cards in the North-west.
Our location, plus plenty of space and height in the gallery makes even just browsing enjoyable.
The collection is constantly changing. Our stock is updated regularly in response to the regular feedback from our visitors.

Our prints are typically double mounted and of the highest quality, we only use well made contemporary frames yet we are still able to keep our prices refreshingly affordable.
The Gallery is our base for creativity, from here Claire and team can help choose the ideal picture you want for a room or space. With an ever expanding database of artists we can also point you in the right direction for any help we cannot supply.
Renting is an option for many offices and work spaces nowadays, the gallery can help source and locate work for a rental period ranging from 1 day (photo shoots, business occaisions) to several years to suit all needs.
Splosh Letters and Words.
We are proud to be currently the only supplier of the wonderful Australian "Splosh" range of large wooden decorative letters in Liverpool City Centre. They are fabulously tactile and make great gifts. These letters are proving a massive hit with everyone, some have been purchased for use in a gallery in Spain and a restaurant in Greece.

NEWS
Open Evening 23rd July 2010.
We would be delighted if you can join us at the gallery for an evening in the company of two local and very exciting artists.
Local watercolourist Michael Treanor returns to the gallery to show some new and existing images.

We are also very excited that Dianne Owen FRPS will also be attending the viewing with some of her work.
Dianne is a fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and creates fantastic abstract photographic images. Many of her works have won awards and she will be on hand on the night to discuss her work.
Gallery open from 10.30 am every day. Events from 6pm - 9pm.
